Guppy Plastics was founded out of a
shared passion for rearing fish between two entrepreneur
friends, KG Ng and CP Goh. Having opened the Gombak Fish
Farm, they encountered many difficulties when it came to
sourcing for plastic aquarium equipment that was
essential to their business.
It was this obstacle that spurred them to seize the
opportunity to fill this void and manufacture the
products themselves. Thus, Guppy Plastic was formed in
1970 to serve this purpose. Met with an overwhelming
market response, they soon expanded, opening an
additional plant in Jinjang in 1977.
Today, Guppy has grown to become one of the biggest
injection moulders in Malaysia, producing our own brands
as well as OEM products for multinational companies in
both local and international markets.
